A lot of focus recently has been on The Great Orangutan Project which is based at Matang Wildlife Centre in Malaysian Borneo. We have been showing you what fantastic work volunteers get up to on this project and sharing some lovely stories, including the recent rescue of a sun bear and the successful release of a slow loris.
Today, however, we have been sent some reviews from some of the volunteers who are currently on The Great Orangutan Project and we thought it would be great to share them with you. So enough from me and over to them!
If this has inspired you to want to join The Great Orangutan Project or if you would simply like to find out a little more about it then please feel free to give us a call on +442088854987 or click here.

Come face to face with one of the world’s most misunderstood predators whilst aiding great white shark conservation. As a volunteer, not only will you get the incredible opportunity to dive with sharks, but you will also assist the team in raising awareness of the great white as you work alongside tourists and local school children to provide them with knowledge of the local environment and the importance of living in harmony with South Africa’s marine life.
