Here at The Great Projects we would like to take this chance to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
Throughout 2015 our volunteers and staff at our many project sites worked incredibly hard to try and change the lives of endangered animals all around the world. We are hoping that 2016 will be just as productive and together we can continue to improve animal welfare.
All of the world’s animals, not only those at the project sites, still need to be cared for and looked after regardless of the time of year, so all we ask is that you spare a thought for the vets, keepers, and assistants that will be looking after all of the animals over this busy time period.
From everyone here at the office we hope you manage to get some rest over the Christmas period and come back ready to volunteer in 2016!

Come face to face with one of the world’s most misunderstood predators whilst aiding great white shark conservation. As a volunteer, not only will you get the incredible opportunity to dive with sharks, but you will also assist the team in raising awareness of the great white as you work alongside tourists and local school children to provide them with knowledge of the local environment and the importance of living in harmony with South Africa’s marine life.
