On Saturday 29th August 2020, endurance athlete Jamie Marais embarked on a super-human challenge where he cycled a vertical ascent of 9,000 metres within the Kariega Game Reserve in just 36 hours! Watch his incredibly challenging but extremely impressive journey in the video below:
The money raised by Jamie has been directly donated to the Kariega Foundation where it will benefit the Rhino Anti-Poaching Unit, as well as the Community Food Relief Programme both of which have been severely impacted by COVID-19.
There is still time to help fund the protection of rhinos and feed those in need by visiting:

A huge congratulations and well done to Jamie!

Come face to face with one of the world’s most misunderstood predators whilst aiding great white shark conservation. As a volunteer, not only will you get the incredible opportunity to dive with sharks, but you will also assist the team in raising awareness of the great white as you work alongside tourists and local school children to provide them with knowledge of the local environment and the importance of living in harmony with South Africa’s marine life.
