Last month we were fortunate enough to be sent a video through of volunteers at the 'Zululand Wildlife Conservation Project'. This is a fantastic project, where volunteers are able to work alongside professional wildlife monitors assisting them with tracking and observing wildlife - all against the backdrop of some of the region's most stunning scenery!

The project currently focuses its efforts on three priority species; the African wild dog, cheetah and critically endangered black rhinoceros, but also monitors the populations of elephant, buffalo, lion, spotted hyena, leopard and white rhino. With a chance to work in some of South Africa's most prestigious game reserves, including the 'Big Five' reserves of Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park and Mkhuze Game Reserve.

But enough of the talking - here is the video so you can see what the volunteers make of the experience!
