My trips abroad are now, apart from occasional city breaks in Europe, generally involve wildlife conservation in some form. I find I'd rather spend money working for animal projects and donating my money and time to them, than mojitos on a beach. Each project fills me with wonder at the animals and the animal rescuers I encounter, instilling respect for all that is done in the name of conservation and salvation of species the human race is often decimating. Apart from that, I'm upbeat about life and wish I hadn't left it so long to spend my time travelling in this way!
