Culture

Mexico’s culture stretches back 100’s of years and is famous around the world for its ancient civilizations and varied historical traditions. A huge percentage of the country speaks Spanish, but there are small pockets around the country which still speak one of the 62 different Amerindian languages.

One of the most famous holidays in Mexico is the Day of the Dead, and this holiday is celebrated each year as a way to remember those who are no longer with us. The festival has grown over the years, and nowadays it is common to see people dressed in bright colours with intricately carved sugar skulls!
